I am not a really arts and crafts kind of gal. I have never done cute. I am however practical. So as my two daughters get older I have seen the price of dresses and things get more and more expensive. I do not like to buy cheap clothes because they do not last and fall apart easy. Well I have a cousin that is a sewing champ. She has worked for an opera company sewing costumes and had her own specialty lace store sewing formal and wedding dresses. So she offered to help me make a couple of Sunday dresses for my Daughters. Oh my gosh. We made the nicest dresses and the fabrics and supplies cost twenty five dollars. I would have spend at least 80 in a department store for the same things. Will now I have to get my own sewing machine so I am starting to look at best sewing machine for beginners.
